Even though it's just a hop, skip, and a 30-minute jump from our house, this was our maiden voyage staying here!
This campground is a hidden gem with amazing sites! Each site is spaciously laid out, and the full hookup sites are incredibly well-designed. It's a wonderfully peaceful campsite, with full hookups conveniently located near the entrance and boondock or tent sites toward the back. There's so much to explore in the area, with Charlotte just ~40 miles away and charming small towns close by. Inside the park, you can enjoy trails, swimming, fishing, and even seasonal boat rentals. It's an adventure waiting to happen!
We stayed at site 44, which had full hookups. The asphalt driveway gave us plenty of space for both our camper and tow vehicle.
Fantastic campground, we can't wait to return! We camped at Lake Norman in April and had an amazing time!
